Inside The Disney Live Panel At D23 Part 4: Marvel Brings Down The Roof (And A Moon)

Finally, Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige came out to tease us. Keige talked about how we're coming up on ten years in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. First Feige brought out Thanos actor Josh Brolin, who looks huge for his role of Cable in Deadpool 2, and over the course of the next several minutes Feige brought out almost the entire cast of Avengers: Infinity War on stage before the showing of that Avengers: Infinity War teaser.

The photo shows Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Dave Bautista (Drax), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Pom Klementeiff (Mantis), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Josh Brolin (Thanos), Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Paul Bettany (Vision), Don Cheadle (War Machine), and Anthony Mackie (Falcon).

Avengers: Infinity War cast hits the stage at D23 before the Avengers: Infinity War Teaser

There was a sizzle reel that lead into a short teaser for Avengers: Infinity War teaser where the crowd went so insane that there are entire moments of dialogue that people missed. First we see the Guardians of the Galaxy out and about, Mantis included, when Thor smashes into their windshield like a bug. Mantis wakes him up and he asks who they are. Thor says that something is wrong. There were a lot of shots in the teaser. Loki is seen holding up the Tesseract looking like he's about to keel over in fear. Peter is on a bus when something makes the hair on his arms stand up so there's your Spider Sense shot, fans. Iron Man is standing with the Guardians and we hear Thanos say "Fun isn't really something one considers when balancing the universe, but this does put a smile on my face." Gamora looks terrified by this.

Quick shots are then seen of Star-Lord, Doctor Strange and Spider-Man all in battle, with the latter in an armored Spidey suit. Winter Soldier and Black Panther are seen, along with what appears to be an imprisoned Vision, an unmasked Captain America with noticeably longer hair, Iron Man back in what looks like the Hulkbuster armor and Black Widow with blonde hair. Things crescendo with a shot of Thanos using the Infinity Gauntlet, literally throwing a planet at the Marvel heroes.

Other quick shots include Star-Lord running with Doctor Strange making platforms for him to run on. Spider-Man in the Iron Spider-like suit from the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming. The Winter Soldier and Black Panther were seen with an army of what looks like the Dora Milaje behind them. Iron Man has Veronica again so it's time for more Hulkbuster. We see a blonde haired Black Widow who looked very afraid. Thanos grabs Thor by the head and looks like he's going to crush the Asgardian's head. The final shot is Thanos taking an incomplete Infinity Gauntlet, reaching out to either a nearby planet or (considering the size) a moon, and pulling it from the sky to throw at the heroes.

What we didn't see were pieces of the Children of Thanos revealed later that day, anything about Captain Marvel, but the cuts were very quick in this Avengers: Infinity War teaser, and it was hard to keep up with everything as the crowd lost its freaking mind. This movie is going to be insane and we're probably going to see more next weekend during Comic-Con International.

Thanos has a commanding presense in the Avengers: Infinity War Teaser presented at D23
