Future Quest Showcase Changes Name To Future Quest Presents

DC Comics' reworked Hanna-Barbera series Future Quest series returns in August, as Future Quest Showcase by Jeff Parker and Ariel Olivetti. But someone at DC Comics must have realised that there's a lot of Showcase going on right now, what with the newsstand magazine using the name and all the collections doing the same.

And so they have plumped to rename the new series as Future Quest Presents instead.

In this debut issue, a new age of adventure begins! First up, Space Ghost and his young wards Jan and Jace team up with the Herculoids to rebuild the mighty Space Force. Will they rise again to become defenders of the galaxy? Or is there something lurking in the shadows ready to stop them for good?

And to emphasise the fact that there is nothing to see here, DC Comics have added a blank sketch cover available to be ordered by retailers. Similar has also been made available for the launch issue, Wonder Woman/Conan #1 by Gail Simone, Aaron Lopresti and Matt Ryan.
