'Godzilla: King Of The Monsters' Casts Elizabeth Ludlow And 'Slender Man' Casts Kevin Chapman

We have some casting announcements today for two very different movies. Deadline has reported the casting additions to Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Slender Man.

'Godzilla: King Of The Monsters' Casts Elizabeth Ludlow And 'Slender Man' Casts Kevin ChapmanElizabeth Ludlow, who plats Arat on The Walking Dead, has joined the cast of Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The details about this third entry into the monster universe that Warner Bros and Legendary are building only the few cast members we have so far and the fact that we're going to see a bunch of monsters in this one. Director Michael Dougherty tweeted out a call sheet six days into filming that had King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan on it. Production on the sequel started on June 20th and it looks like Legendary is sitting out Comic-Con International this year so it's unclear when we'll see any footage from this one.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters, directed by Michael Dougherty, stars Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Kyle Chandler, and Thomas Middleditch. It will be released March 22nd, 2019.

'Godzilla: King Of The Monsters' Casts Elizabeth Ludlow And 'Slender Man' Casts Kevin ChapmanThe second piece of casting comes in the form of Kevin Chapman being added to the cast of Slender Man. Slender Man is an internet idea that was form in the depths of reddit and various message boards that went crazy viral. It has a video game adaptation when helped bring it to the attention of the modern age and it even has some tragedy attached to it in the real world. It's not surprising that a Slender Man movie is happening and production is due to start any day now. According to Deadline Chapman will play "Mr. Jensen, an emotionally defeated, alcoholic father." Chapman recently wrapped a movie called Saint Judy and recurs in season 2 of Sneaky Pete.

Slender Man, directed by Sylvain White, stars Joey King, Julia Goldani Telles, Jaz Sinclair, and Alex Fitzalan. It will be released May 18, 2018.
