It's Supergirl Vs Starfire In Lastest DC Versus

DC Versus has been a lot of fun to watch. Basically looking at how to different characters match up that wouldn't normally fight. There have been some really good pairings and some less than stellar. The latest one I think falls on the intriguing and well-balance side as they pit Supergirl vs Starfire. Both are aliens to Earth and come with increased strength, stamina, a form of energy blast and the ability to survive the pressures of space. Where the Kryptonian has the advantage over the Tamarian would have to be speed. Kori can flying at the speed of light, but her base movements are not sped up while Kara move at superspeed allowing her to land more hits in less time. But strategy can counter speed, so with a good plan I think Starfire would have a chance… I would still put my money on the Girl of Steel, but I think it would be a good fight.

Supergirl was created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino in Action Comics #252 (May 1959). Starfire was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez in DC Comics Presents #26 (October 1980). Supergirl has a live action series starring Melissa Benoist that is going into it's third season on the CW while Starfire is one of the characters coming up in the new Teen Titans series that was announced by DC earlier this year.
