Nerd Food: Star Wars Campbell's Soup For Even A Sith's The Soul

Star Wars is everywhere, from home supplies to car accessories — and even food. I've talked about Star Wars-related food in the past, and I'll likely talk about it again in the future. This weekend my poor boyfriend fell ill, so naturally I went out and got him some soup to make him feel better. Unfortunately for him, I also bought some nerd-tastic Star Wars Campbell's soup that I could talk about for work.

My experience with nerd soups and pastas hasn't always been positive, but I didn't eat this tonight. I was spared; Nick was not. And for the sake of journalistic integrity, I even conducted an interview about it:

Baltimore Lauren: Nick, how was the soup?
Nick: It was alright. It's Campbell's.
BL: Was it too salty?
N: No. Oh, I didn't realize I was being interviewed. It was like a fine lady; needed more meat.
BL: Does this soup make you want to join the Dark Side?
N: Soup will come out of my dark side.

Welcome to hell, Nick.

He wouldn't recommend this Star Wars Campbell's Soup, though — it seems it's nothing more than a marketing ploy. Touché. The shapes were spot-on, though, and recognizable. For $1.50, it wasn't the worst thing I've ever bought. And then again, the novelty of the shapes is always kind of exciting. May the Force be with you!
