Has Brian Bendis Suggested A Way Out Of Current Marvel Continuity Woes?

Yesterday saw Brian Bendis and Alex Maleev bring us a new chapter of Infamous Iron Man, the one in which Doctor Doom is swanning around pretending to be Iron Man, as The Thing and the Human Torch had a brief mini-Fantastic Four reunion. Which did suggest that possibly the upcoming Marvel Two-In-One series might even be helmed by Bendis. He's done his level best to write Fantastic Four comics books of late, but it seems he just hasn't been allowed to do it properly because of Marvel party politics. Could Marvel Two-In-One be his almost-way in? Mindless speculation of course there.

This isn't just a throwaway either. Brian Bendis has been notably absent from his range of books' involvement with Secret Empire, but has been pushing the idea that alternate universes have been poking themselves into the Marvel Universe of late, over in Jessica Jones.

Just saying, still pure mindless speculation, but if one were to foreshadow a big red reset button on something or other, this might be the way one would do it.

Infamous Iron Man #9 by Brian Bendis and Alex Maleev was published this week by Marvel Comics.
