'White Day: A Labyrinth Named School' Is Getting A Steam Release

We've spoken a bit about Korean horror game White Day: A Labyrinth Named School before, and it looks like the game finally has a release date for Steam. The last time we checked in with the survival horror game, it was to announce the game's PS4 release date, and it looks like PQube is really pulling out all the stops for the Western release of the game by putting it out on Steam as well. That's the two largest gaming platforms covered, so it should be good news.

Roi Games' White Day will make the jump to Steam on August 22nd, which means it'll be launching simultaneously on console and PC in Europe and America thanks to publisher PQube. The European release for the game will come a few days later on August 25th.

For some background, White Day: A Labyrinth Named School, is widely considered a hidden gem in the survival horror genre. The game boasts 'a skin-crawling atmosphere, bloodcurdling scares, dynamically changing puzzles and multiple endings.' The Korean horror classic is being completely remade with expanded gameplay features and new storylines so there's something to enjoy even for those who have braved the game before.

Alongside the Steam release announcement, Roi Games and PQube put out a new trailer designed to get you both excited and absolutely horrified. It does an alright job of doing both, honestly, but I doubt you'll be losing sleep over this one.

White Day: A Labyrinth Named School will release on PS4 and Steam on August 22nd in the Americas, and on August 25th in Europe.
