Saturday, October 28th is Hallowe'en ComicFest, the horror-themed Free Comic Book Day organised by Diamond Comics Distributors. Oytensibly a kids event, certain titles have been getting more and more mature readers-orientated and 2017 has more Mature Readers and Teen+ titles than ever before…

And plenty of comics for the kids as well. There's a mix of free comic books (which the retailers pay for) and grab bags of 25 mini-comics sold for $4.99, to be given away at the door on Hallowe'en night instead of sweets and candy.
