It seems like it was just last month that we reported that superstar artist Sir Robert Liefeld would be the inaugural inductee into Wizard World's new Hall of Legends. Perhaps that is because it was just last month that we reported that Rob Liefeld would be the inaugural inductee into Wizard World's Hall of Legends. Liefeld was officially inducted at Wizard World Philly on June 2. Now, the next inductee has been revealed by the beleaguered convention organizers: the suitable legendary Trina Robbins.

"Trina has paved a path and elevated all women in the comics industry for decades; from her early work in the underground space, to being the first female artist to draw Wonder Woman, to her continued efforts to highlight the work of female creators, she has spent her entire career in the comics industry as a true trailblazer," said Wizard World CEO John Maatta in a press release. "Her work as a creator and pioneer in the comics world makes her an ideal selection to the Wizard World Hall of Legends."

Robbins contributed her obligatory press release quote as well: "I'm very pleased to be recognized by Wizard World and accept this in honor of the many women who continue to make their marks in comics. I'm looking forward to meeting the many talented creators in Sacramento next week."

Wizard World Sacramento takes place Friday, June 16, 4-9 p.m., Saturday, June 17, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday, June 18, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wizard plans to induct t least one new member to the Hall of Legends at every convention until they run out of money.
