Zhang Ziyi Joins 'Godzilla: King Of The Monsters'

Zhang ZiyiChinese actress Zhang Ziyi has joined the cast of Godzilla: King of the Monsters according to The Tracking Board. She is best known for her role in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and she earned a Golden Globe nomination for her role in Memories of a Geisha.

She will play a significant figure within the Monarch organization that we saw in Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island. The movie will take place several years after the 2014 film and she joins cast members Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, and Ken Watanabe.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters, directed by Michael Dougherty, with a script he co-wrote with Zach Shields. It will be released on March 22, 2019
