Captain America Begs Trump To Tweet During Comey Hearings

Captain America may not even know what Myspace is, but Chris Evans, the actor who plays Captain America in Marvel's superhero universe, is an expert at Twitter. The star has used the social media platform to carry out a war with former KKK leader David Duke, and now he's using it to encourage President of the United States Donald Trump to self-destruct more rapidly.

As former FBI head James Comey is currently on testifying under oath before the Senate about the whole Trump/Russia cluster****, Trump has stayed remarkably quiet, not even tweeting once about the event. For Trump's staff, that's probably a blessing, but Evans is doing his best to encourage Trump to pick up the phone:

Be patient, Chris. It's going to happen.
