If You Love Your Titan Vanguard, Zavala Has His Own Destiny 2 Trailer Now

destiny2stream

Alright, so it's less his own trailer and more just a bunch of weird shots of Zavala flailing around being somewhat useless, but your Titan Vanguard, Captain Zavala, absolutely deserves his own trailer and it is our first official gameplay premiere trailer. This trailer comes to us from the Destiny 2 gameplay stream from the other week, but it provides an awesome counterpoint to the Rally the Troops trailer. It's also nice for anyone who missed that massive Destiny 2 gameplay livestream. This trailer kicked off that stream, though it wasn't released until this week, for some unfathomable reason.

The Zavala's Prelude gameplay trailer has a pretty weak description, actually. This is all we get:

On the eve of an attack on our home that begins a new adventure, this reintroduction to the world of Destiny asks: "What makes a Guardian, a Guardian?" New legends will rise to join the ranks of the heroes who have sworn to protect humanity.

What? Couldn't think of anything better for what is the gameplay reveal trailer and one of the largest hype pieces for Destiny 2? Someone needs a better intern, I think.

Zavala's solo trailer is below, for those of you who haven't seen it, or just want to watch it again without the livestream getting in the way.

Now personally, I tend to support the clearly superior Vanguard, Cayde-6. But we all know I play as hunter just for the silly cloak. It's the hoods, absolutely the silly hunter hoods. We look like a bunch of middle school hoodlums and I can't get enough of it.
