The Boy Who Cried Penguin – Josh Gad Teases Batman Movie Role Again

Posted by June 2, 2017 Comment

Not that long ago we shared a story about Josh Gad teasing a connection to the Penguin. And then we covered it when Gad came out and denied the rumors which he started. Now the Frozen actor has posted an image of himself in the DC offices with Geoff Johns and John Berg of DC Entertainment holding a Batman Adventures comic with the Penguin on the cover.  He comment on the photos: “Nothing to see here…”

Gad seems to be enjoying trolling fans, but don’t read too much into his visit. A visit to the office doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s getting looked at for the DCEU roll of Oswald Cobblepot or it might be that he is being considered for voicing the character in one of the many animated features. Or maybe Johns just wanted some advice on building a snow man.

And here is the comic he is holding, The Batman Adventures #1.
