We Will Be Getting New Content For 'Hitman' From IO After Square Enix Sale

For those worried what will become of Hitman after the Square Enix sale of IO Interactive, fret no more. IO released the picture below with details of new content on the way for June, featuring the new additions of Escalation Contracts, Featured Contracts, and the new Elusive Target mode.

Elusive Target #25 will be the second to last one released for that specific Hitman story, happening in Hokkaido, Japan. There's also a mandatory game update happening near the end of the month, which we assume will have a bunch of patches and cleaned up works, but the patch notes haven't been released yet. It's likely that this is a sign from IO that the series will continue to create content over the rest of 2017 and see a new game down the road, even after the sale is final.
