Pandora: The World Of Avatar Opens At Disney's Animal Kingdom – Should You Go Today?
Pandora: The World of Avatar opened at Disney's Animal Kingdom this morning, and if you were wondering how an attraction based on the 2009 James Cameron film Avatar might fare eight years and countless mixed reviews later, the verdict is in: capacity crowds and massive lines from the jump. The lesson? Never underestimate Disney Imagineering.
Should you go today? The short answer is no. Don't go today. WDW News Today is reporting 3 hour plus wait times for rides, and the park has reached capacity. So unless you're staying on property, do not attempt to visit Animal Kingdom today.
If you're not staying on property, this is what the wait to get in looks like.
This one of Disney's most ambitious lands so I'm not shocked the park has reached capacity. If you're thinking of visitng, wait a few months. 3 hour plus lines will be the norm for this park for some time. I'll be back in a few weeks, but unless I get fast passes? Probably not getting into Pandora! For the rest of you, good luck. What an amazing time for Walt Disney World!
