Shadowman's (Almost) Back in Rapture #1

At the Valiant Summit last month, they teased that Shadowman would get a new series in March 2018…and that the road to his big comeback would start in today's Rapture #1 from writer Matt Kindt and artist CAFU.

So just what has Jack Boniface been up to since he last appeared more than a year ago? As we discovered in today's issue – the first of Valiant's new "standalone event" – he's been having some intense identity issues…

And undergoing some intense supernatural therapy with Punk Mambo, courtesy of MI-6, to get his (literal) demons under control…

But after some convincing, Shadowman agrees to go back to the Deadside with Ninjak at the behest of the Geomancer to stop a new interdimensional threat named Babel.

Now that Shadowman is beginning his long journey back to heroism in Rapture, stayed tuned as possible clues to his forthcoming return begin to emerge…

Only 10 months and four days to go… Let the speculation begin.
