You're Getting More Legendary Pokémon in 'Pokémon GO' This Summer

In an interview with the German division of Wired, Niantic CEO John Hanke essentially confirmed that more Legendary Pokémon will be added to the mix this summer for Pokémon GO. There are already legendary birds in the game that are a pain to find and even more difficult to catch, but they do exist. Now it appears more of them will be randomly placed, but it's unclear if it's just going to be the norm or if a special event will kick it off. The interview also has Hanke going into improving gym battles and cheating in the game using fake GPS. Here's a quick translated quote from the article.

"In addition, Niantic wants to finally deliver what many coaches have been waiting for since the first few weeks: the legendary Pokémon – Mewtwo, Mew and the three elemental birds assigned to the teams. 'I can safely say we'll see more of it this year,' says Hanke."
