On World Goth Day, A Nico Minoru Tease Signals A New Runaways Series For 2017

Early next year, Marvel and Hulu's Runaways TV show will launch with a 10 episode streaming first season. Before that, however, it looks like we may be seeing the Runaways return to the Marvel Comics Universe. Marvel just sent out the following teaser, appropriately for World Goth Day highlighting suitably goth character Nico Minoru. The tagline says "get ready to run" and promises something coming in 2017. While it's possible that this is a Nico solo series, more likely is that we'll see teasers for the other characters in the coming days, as Marvel likes to do these things in fives or sixes. Marvel's August solicitations should be out soon, so either way, we can probably expect to learn more about this by the end of the week.

One things we can tell you is that looks like the art of Kris Anka, and Anka promised something on the way that will freak people out back in April.
