Jay Fosgitt's Take On Black Panther May Make Your Sunday

Mashups are fun. Combining two beloved franchises into one has lead to some interesting and clever takes in both art and cosplay. Artist Jay Fosgitt has had a weird idea (his words) for a pop culture mashup. His idea… combining the comedy icon Pink Panther created by Blake Edwards, Fritz Freleng and Hawley Pratt created in 1963 and the comic book hero Black Panther created three years later by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee.

Fosgitt, creator of the all-ages comic book Bodie Troll, published by Red 5 Comics and illustrator on the My Little Pony comics for IDW, combined to the iconic Panthers in the piece below. He also combined the bumbling Inspector Clouseau with the villainous Ulysses Klaw. This needs to be a comic or something… it's too good not to do something.
