The Mummy: TV Spots, Posters, And Highlights From #TheMummyDay
It's apparently The Mummy Day today according to Universal Pictures. They are having a huge press event in downtown Los Angeles with the principle cast including Tom Cruise, Annanelle Wallis, Jake Johnson and Sofia Boutella all expected to attend the event. They are also unveiling a 75-foot sarcophagus. There was a live stream of the event along with pictures, some new TV spots, and posters for the upcoming movie. The Mummy is currently tracking for a $40 million opening weekend according to The Hollywood Reporter but it will have to contend with Wonder Woman which will have opened just the weekend before.
Summary: An ancient princess is awakened from her crypt beneath the desert, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia, and terrors that defy human comprehension.
The Mummy will be released on June 9, 2017.
