'Linked Worlds' Has An Awesome Time Mechanic That's Fun To See In Motion

linked-worlds

Linked Worlds is currently on Steam in the Greenlight program, a fun 16-bit throwback with a unique time mechanic that will make you take an interest in playing. Every step in the game is one minute of time in the game for their 24-hour clock, which includes a day and night phase. Many of the events in the game are based on a certain time of day as well, so if you need to meet someone at a tavern at 4 p.m., you can't just show up and expect them to chat with you at 3 p.m. The NPC's you run into are all unique with some great backstories to some of them, and the overall gameplay is kind of awesome for an RPG currently sitting on Greenlight. We recommend giving it a shot when you have some time.
