'Ant-Man And The Wasp' Will Be "Mind-Blowing" And "Really Cool"

ant-man and the waspWe're not even halfway done with 2017 and we're already starting to get drip fed some details about the Marvel movies coming out in 2018. Actor David Dastmalchian, who played Kurt a member of Scott's team of crooks, talked to Entertainment Weekly about Ant-Man and The Wasp while at the premiere of the new Twin Peaks.

"I can say Ant-Man and The Wasp is going to do things in the Marvel universe that they haven't gotten an opportunity to do yet and I just got some tidbits the other day and they're mind-blowing," he tells EW. "It's going to be really cool."

At the moment most of the previous cast are returning including Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and director Peyton Reed who spoke about the film to reporters earlier this year.

"There was one idea that Hank Pym has forwarded the shrinking and growing technology so that it's not just necessarily the suits that are the vessels. Maybe it could be vehicles or something else as well. For Ant-Man specifically, in that first movie, the suit, intentionally so, is kind of a relic. It represents his past, so this is really the new iteration that is the modern version of the tech."

That same presentation saw concept art for Hoppe's mother Janet in a costume. On May 7th Sharon Stone teased that she has a "wee" role in an upcoming Marvel movie but when prompted for confirmation Reed didn't want to get hit by the Marvel snipers and dodged the question.

"Only time will tell," he said

Ant-Man and The Wasp will be released on July 6, 2018.
