Mark Out For The First Full Trailer For Netflix's GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling)

We've seen pictures from the production, we've seen short teasers, and if we're getting really technical about it, we've seen the real life 1980s pro wrestling promotion it's based on in real life. But Netflix has finally released the first full trailer for GLOW, the series from the creators of Orange is the New Black and starring Alison Brie, a fictionalized account of the real story of Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling.

Here's Netflix's description of the show:

Inspired by the real story of the 1980's female wrestling league, the series — set in Los Angeles and showcasing big hair and body slams — will be the fictionalized story of an out of work actress who finds one last attempt to live her dreams in the form of a weekly series about female wrestlers.

Jenji Kohan (Orange is the New Black) and Tara Herrmann (Orange is the New Black) are executive producers, and the series was co-created by Liz Flahive (Homeland) and Carly Mensch (Orange is the New Black), who will serve as showrunners.

As you all know if you've been following Bleeding Cool's ongoing coverage of professional wrestling, the drama that takes place behind the scenes of the pro wrestling business is even more entertaining than what takes place in the ring. It looks like GLOW will aim to capitalize on that when the entire ten episode first season of the Netflix original becomes available for streaming on June 23.
