Plans Being Outlined For "Game Master" Mode For 'Divinity: Original Sin II'

Yesterday, Larian Studios revealed a new project on the way for fans of Divinity: Original Sin II. "Game Master" mode is the game's version of being a DM for D&D, which includes building everything from scratch. Rather than playing pre-built scenarios, you'll be able to create your own adventure, even loading in your own images, to make one-of-a-kind adventures in the game that are yours.

The system is one of their Kickstarter stretch goals and it appears to finally be coming to fruition, which includes taking advantage of the combat and roleplaying systems, an overhauled modding tool to create towns, NPC characters, dialog, battle arenas, rural villages, and more. Players can even load their adventures to the Steam workshop for others to download and play. This next step in the game is going to make a lot of creators happy and will likely give players a whole new set of games to take advantage of for free.
