Bethesda Outlines The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind's Early Access

morrowindfullbleed

Bethesda has finally outlined the early access process for the Morrowind expansion of Elder Scrolls Online. Players who purchase the digital upgrade version of the upcoming expansion are eligible to start playing on May 22nd.

While in early access, players can start exploring the entirety of the game, including 2 new houses available for purchase in Vvardenfell: the Ald Velothi Harbor House and Amaya Lake Lodge. Because you know you want to set up new digs in Vvardenfell. Don't lie to me.

According to the game's official site, early access is only available on the PC version due to the certification process required for the Elder Scrolls Online clients on consoles.

Anyone who pre-ordered the physical version of the Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind Collector's Edition can get in early by following the steps laid out in the official announcement.

If you're on console or don't meet the PC criteria laid out for early access on May 22, you'll have to wait until June 6 when the game officially launches.

But those of us not in the early access batch can all continue to console ourselves by getting nostalgic with this previous trailer which features fans and devs reminiscing about The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

Whether you're in early access or the slow lane for release, it won't be a long wait for the Morrowind expansion. Just a few weeks for early access, and less than a month for the regular launch in June. It's nice weather to head back to Vvardenfell, isn't it?
