Want To Be An Executive On DC Comics' New Streaming Service? This May Be The Job Listing…

DC_Logo_RGB_031816Two months ago, we looked at reports of a survey that seemed to suggest that DC Comics was planning a streaming all-you-can-eat comic book service, possibly with Amazon Prime.

Two weeks ago they announced the service, with Warner Bros, that it would also debut the live-action Titans TV show and the new series of the Young Justice cartoon.

Well, here's a job listing at Warner Bros working from their Burbank HQ for a Sr. Account Executive working at Warner Brothers Digital Networks. It does seem to tick a lot of boxes for someone who would be working on the service.

Warner Bros. Digital Networks Inc. seeks a Sr. Account Executive for the Digital Media Sales department. The Sr. Account Executive will drives sales for Warner Bros. Digital Networks group and will focus on a specific list of target accounts and agencies. The Sr. Account Executive will help Warner Bros. achieve a reputation for being an innovative, client-focused media partner and a thought leader in the digital industry. The role will focus on developing deep, meaningful relationships with clients that enable Warner Bros. to deliver against specific sales targets, while delivering exceptional marketing solutions and the highest levels of client service.

This position reports directly to the VP, National Brand Partnerships/Sales. Digital properties include TMZ, Machinima, DramaFever, and more.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Personally delivers against a specific sales revenue target for a list of accounts and agencies:
    • Powerfully articulates and presents WBDEG opportunities in the marketplace.
    • Personally drives productive relationships at key clients and agencies.
    • Collaborates internally to develop and close cross-platform media solutions for key partners.
  • Offers clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively & accurately updating the pipeline and via weekly sales status reports.
  • Provides meaningful marketplace feedback on WB Digital Media offerings including brand perception, programs, and ad capabilities.
  • Drives revenue goals while maintaining a responsible & respectful approach toward the internal support organization.
  • Drives the highest levels of client service by managing the pre- and post-sales client-facing processes.
  • Responsible for other job related duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 5-8 years experience in digital media sales within an entertainment/media company or ad agency.
  • Previous successful experience calling directly on digital advertising clients and/or agencies.
  • Proven experience in building senior level client and agency relationships.
  • Experience in mobile advertising is a plus.
  • Powerful sales, presentation and communication skill sets.
  • MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Exceptional team player interested in working as part of a highly coordinated, focused organization.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and clients.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
