How Will Black Bolt Communicate On Marvel's Inhumans?

Anyone familiar with the Inhumans comics knows that Black Bolt must remain silent. The leader of the royal family has a very powerful weapon, his voice. The quietest whisper could topple mountains. He's like and extreme version of the old E. F. Hutton ads, when Black Bolt talks… people run for their lives. So, how will the king communicate with his queen and the others? Through sign language, but not that will be recognizable. Actor Anson Mount told EW.com:

I actually have to do more preparation when it comes to scenes in which I sign, and I can't use American Sign Language. Because he's not from Earth, he wouldn't know American Sign Language, so I'm making my own sign system.

Mount went on to tease about his character, saying that Black Bolt:

is a leader who is actually forced to understand not just the strength of his voice, but the potential catastrophe of his voice. He literally has to meditate an hour every night before going to bed so he doesn't talk in his sleep.

Thinking of all the places in life where you might accidentally speak… no wonder the character has that look in the photo above.
