Death Is Not Absolute As We See The Joker's Trailer For 'Injustice 2'

When we last saw the Joker in what we'll call NetherRealm Studios' version of Earth 2 in Injustice 2, he essentially got his heart and more ripped out by Superman after causing Clark to kill Lois, his kid and all of Metropolis. Yeah… that'll press anyone's murder button. But as we've seen in the trailers, the also supposedly dead Green Arrow from this world is back, so of course, it only makes sense that the Joker survived somehow. (Though we're not seeing them bring Shazam back, hmmm.) This world's Joker looks like a mix of seven different Joker's at once. Along with shades of comic book incarnations, it almost seems like his character is a nod to Jared Leto, Heath Ledger, Jack Nicolson, even a little Cesar Romero. Sadly, the rumors prove untrue about Mark Hamill voicing this version, as it appears Richard Epcar returns to give him that acid-filled cackle from the first game. Enjoy the trailer below as he beats up Damien Wayne the same way he beat up Jason Todd.
