Blizzard Boasting That 'Overwatch' Now Has 30 Million Players

As a game, Overwatch has just entered a new echelon of gaming with a milestone they decided to celebrate today. Game reps took to Twitter to announce the game currently has 30 million players online from both PC and console versions. That the kind of membership record you only see in massive selling multiplayer shooters like Halo or Call Of Duty, so they're reaching legendary status for the genre. To earn that many players within a year of releasing the game is one hell of an accomplishment, so congrats to them for making it happen! We can only hope that Blizzard decides to celebrate with some free boxes for everyone. Preferably ones that aren't completely filled with duplicates like the entire Uprising event has been. Seriously, guys! How many damn spraypaints of Winston's bananas do I need?
