Skyforge Lets You Become A Literal God And That's Not Great

Skyforge is a F2P MMO that does offer a monthly subscription fee for people who just want to win faster than the rest of us. And it lets you literally become god tier by transitioning from a regular Immortal to a God. How do you get there? By resource farming. And that is the biggest weakness of Skyforge, though it isn't the only one.

That's the male Paladin armor. For women, it's a bit, well. Yeah.

Some people just like to look sexy while playing MMOs, sure. I get that. I just wish it wasn't the only option. Why can't I play a game with a female bodied character without wearing literally no armor? And yeah, there is a "style choice" that'll let me wear pants and a jacket or a suit of armor. But I look like Iron Man's reject cousin who didn't get the memo that for armor to be effective it should cover all of you. Most of that looks pretty darn flexible. Which makes so much sense for a tank right?

One of the things Skyforge does well is allow you the chance to change your class at any time. As long as you've unlocked the class through the game's campaign, you can change whenever you like. It gives you the flexibility to test out different classes, or go tactical and switch classes as needed during missions. And that's pretty darn fun. It also looks pretty cool.

Other than that flexibility and being able to literally become God tier, there is little else in Skyforge that's novel. It is a regular, straight forward MMO. It's matchmaking abilities for parties are not the smoothest, but are better than some other F2P MMOs. The guild system is pretty standard.

Overall, there isn't much that stands out. Skyforge goes through all the regular motions and aside from some easy class switching and the whole polytheistic motif, nothing draws me to it.
