Ovar.io Has You Battling And Surviving As Sprem
Slightly educational, slightly gross, but kinda awesome. At least, that's our feeling after playing a couple rounds of Ovar.io. Yesterday, Miniclip launched the new flash game that has you playing as various types of sperm trying to survive and eventually impregnate the egg in the middle.
A play on the word ovarian and utilizing the same mechanics of games such as Agar.io, you essentially swim around and gather up supplies while avoiding other sperm in order to get bigger and stronger and reach the ultimate goal. The game is flash-based and runs on micro-servers where a certain amount of players are allowed to join in and compete against each other. There are different types of sperm to choose from with different abilities, though in order to play beyond the first set of "cluster" sperm, you need to turn off all ad-blocking software you may have on your browser. The game is prone to crashing and having jittery moments when there are multiple players or things happening on screen, but beyond that, it's pretty fun to play. Plus, the game is free to play, so it's not like you're giving much up beyond free time.
