Atlus Got Domain Hungry Yesterday In Regards To 'Persona 5'

A few years ago, before we got the famous court case of Batman v. Superman, Warner Bros. registered a bunch of website for possible names in advance to make sure some jerk didn't beat them to it. It has become standard practice, especially after one really smart dude registered PokeMon.com just as the series launched in the U.S. and made bank off it a few years later when they finally caved and purchased it from him. Essentially it's a money-saving plan that also protects your intellectual property. Yesterday, multiple sources took note of Atlus going on a spending spree of their own for Persona 5 as the company registered several sites under the name ryusoffice Corp, Inc., which is the same company that registered domains for Project Re: Fantasy, another Atlus title in the works. They're not necessarily projects in the works, they're simply trademarked registrations so the company can sit on them for years to come. Here's a list of some of the most prominent ones that have been picked up by other sites, primarily Siliconera.
