IDW Launches DuckTales And Tangled Comics In July

Looks like it's not just Joe Books that can do comics based on a) more modern Donald Duck-related cartoons or animated movies. Looks like IDW have nabbed a few too.

DuckTales and Tangled: The Series are Disney's latest animated TV series to make the leap from the small screen to the printed page with brand-new comics from IDW Publishing, in collaboration with Disney Licensed Publishing, an imprint of Disney Book Group, LLC.

DuckTales is based on the upcoming new animated series for the summer, with an #0 issue this July for $3.99. Then in August, Tangled: The Series has an original graphic novel called Adventure is Calling in a special adaptation of the series. 72 pages for $9.99.

 

How these relate to the other Italian Disney comics reprints that IDW seem to specialise in, is unknown…
