Guardians Of The Galaxy The Telltale Series Gets A Launch Trailer

It's a day early, but the launch trailer for Telltale Games' Guardians of the Galaxy: Tangled Up in Blue has arrived.

The game will release tomorrow, April 18th, for digital download. The game will hit retailers on May 2nd.

The Telltale series won't be an origin story, since the talent on both sides – Telltale and Marvel Games – felt that the 2014 Guardians film did a decent enough job of that.

"One of the cool things is we don't want to tell an origin story again, try to retell what the movie did," Telltale Executive Producer Justin Lambros said to IGN. "But we did want to tell the history of these characters…we found some really interesting things the more we played and looked at their history."
