Red Bull Is Throwing A 'Hearthstone' Tournament This Weekend

Probably one of the weirdest headlines to write this week, the energy drink company Red Bull will be hosting another season of Hearthstone tournaments in 2017, with the first one starting this weekend and will be aired live on Twitch.

For this particular event, teams will be set up three-on-three, and teammates can assist their teammates during the match. Teams will be are dealt one 240-card pool to construct three 30-card decks at one deck per player, and then brawl it out in a team conquest round-robin format. The format will have teams blind picking one of their three decks for combat against their enemy, and a deck is removed from play when it wins a game. This particular tournament will feature players from eSports teams like Tempo Storm, Team SoloMid, Team Luminosity, and Team Dignitas. You can watch tomorrow's tournament at this link.
