Lara Croft Go Mirror Of Spirits Is Now Free On Mobile

unnamed-1

Square Enix Montréal has released the Mirror of Spirits story chapter for the critically-acclaimed Lara Croft GO on iOS, Android, and Windows stores. The new chapter was developed in collaboration with Montréal indie studio, KO_OP, Mirror of Spirits includes a whole new set of puzzles and mechanics in a setting strongly inspired by Croft Manor.

If you haven't played any of the games in the Go series, they're 3D puzzlers set in some of Square Enix's more popular western game franchises. For the Tomb Raider edition, called Lara Croft GO, "Lara uses her wits and weapons to delve into dangerous chasms filled with mystery, artifacts, and peril. Experience an ambient, mesmerizing soundtrack, stunning art style, and didactic turn-based puzzle-solving that made the game a critical and commercial success on mobile, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC."

Basically, it's got the charm of an indie puzzler, set in a familiar world with an iconic character.

"It's been a real honor to develop a whole new chapter for Lara Croft GO with the talented creative team at KO_OP," said Antoine Routon, Technical Director and Lead Engineer, at Square Enix Montréal. "We feel that veteran players will find the story chapter a new challenge, whilst it retains the spirit of the original Lara Croft GO."

To celebrate the 'Mirror of Spirits' launch on mobile devices, gamers will be able to purchase Lara Croft GO with a minimum 40 percent off on the App Store, Google Play, and Windows store.
