Naughty Dog's massive The Lost Legacy DLC for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End finally has a release date. The new content will be available in North America on August 22nd and August 23rd worldwide. The DLC will retail for $40 USD and $50 CAD and will release PS4 only.

Alongside the announcement, we got a new cinematic trailer showing off the new storyline at it's best.

The studio also announced that those who pre-order The Lost Legacy at certain retailers will receive a digital copy of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy for PS4 free of charge on August 22. Last week, it was confirmed that all four of Naughty Dog's Jak and Daxter games will be coming to the PS4 as PlayStation 2 Classics later this year. Since The Precursor Legacy is releasing as a pre-order bonus in August, I'd expect all four games to make the jump to PS4 around the same time.

If you end up pre-ordering the game on the PlayStation Store, you'll get yourself an Uncharted: The Lost Legacy theme created by Truant Pixel.

Those who purchased the Uncharted 4 Digital Deluxe Edition, Triple Pack or Explorer's Pack will receive The Lost Legacy as a digital download on release day.

The newest trailer, called "Riverboat Revelation" is below.
