The Xbox Spring Sale Is On Tomorrow, Here's What You Should Grab

Microsoft is putting up a large number of sales on games, apps, music, TV shows, movies, and hardware from April 11th to the 17th. Some of those sales are already going live, and are showing price cuts for Overwatch, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Sunset Overdrive, and Watch Dogs 2. Xbox 360 games are also on sale, like Lost Odyssey and Mass Effect. The sales are also hitting some newer games like For Honor, Forza Horizon 3 and Halo Wars 2.

Some of these games support Xbox Play Anywhere, which essentially means that one purchase gets you the game on Xbox One and Windows 10 with cross save capability. So you buy it once and can play on both platforms, shifting your saves between each as you go. Now, how much this is going to be a bonus for you will mostly depend on how portable your PC is, I think. Still, not a bad deal to get two copies of the game for the price of one.

In addition to games, you can also pick up an Xbox Design Labs controller for $15 off the total price, or even get 33% off a Microsoft Windows PC. So if you're in need of a new controller or a new PC, now's not a bad time to shop.

Xbox Live Gold subscribers will get an extra 10% off during the sale.

"For the gamer, the Spring Sale includes deals for Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows 10. Xbox games are up to 67 percent off and an additional 10 percent off for Xbox Live Gold members. Popular titles and add-ons include Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Titanfall 2, FIFA 17, Overwatch, For Honor, and many more! If that's not enough, choose from over 35 Backward Compatible titles on sale," says Sara Shone, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Games Marketing, Microsoft.

Personally, if I were going to be looking to spend some cash during this sale, I'd focus on Battlefield 1For Honor, Overwatch, or Sunset Overdrive. And probably pick up a design labs controller, because I've always wanted on in bright, florescent teal.
