Stephen Amell Will Tackle The American Ninja Warrior Course

For years now, Arrow star Stephen Amell has said he's wanted to be on NBC's American Ninja Warrior. Amell, who appeared in Wrestlemania a few years back, is known to be in incredible shape and his time on the series doing the infamous Salmon Ladder lead fans to wanting the actor to tackle the extreme course used by the television series. At a convention recently, Amell was asked about his plans to be on the show and he said he would do it in 2017… though the shows producers didn't know it.

Today Amell announced that he will be on American Ninja Warrior with his trainer, Kacy Catanzaro, on May 25th. I doubt he would make this announcement if he was just going to guest host, so though he didn't say it out right, I think it's safe to assume he will be running the course.

With Arrow wrapping up filming the season right about now, the timing couldn't be better.
