In recent years, professional wrestling, particularly WWE, has been getting a lot of coverage on "real" sports network ESPN, as well as on sports news websites like Bleacher Report. For some reason, NFL Red Zone host Andrew Siciliano apparently has a problem with that:

Of course, the answer to Siciliano's question is a simple one. Sports outlets cover pro wrestling because it gets them clicks or ratings, and because it's close enough to sports that they can justify doing it. If ESPN could find a way to justify covering House of Cards, and it got them ratings, they would cover that too.

A better question, perhaps, is: if pro wrestling should be treated like scripted entertainment, why does Bleeding Cool, a scripted entertainment site, get so much flack for covering it as well?
