Godzilla Anime Is Coming To Netflix This Year

Netflix will be coordinating with Polygon Pictures and TOHO for the theatrical and streaming release of the first film in the new Godzilla animated franchise. The film will be available globally this year.

The film is set to have a stage event at AnimeJapan 2017 on March 26th which will include the six main voice actors: Yuuki Kaji, Takahiro Sakurai, Mamoru Miyano, Junichi Suwabe, Kana Hanazawa, and Tomokazu Sugita.

Kobun Shizuno (Fist of the North Star: The Legend of Kenshirô) and Hiroyuki Seshita (Knights of Sidonia) are directing while Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica) came up with the story and wrote the screenplay.
