The Next James Bond May Have Some Familiar Writers

The next James Bond film may not have it's actor locked in… but word from The Daily Mail is that Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are preparing to start on the screenplay. The writing duo that has worked on Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and coming in after John Logan on Spectre are believed to be involved but it has yet to be confirmed.

This will be the 25th Bond film and the producers, Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, still consider Daniel Craig their first choice. Craig seems to have had a love / hate relationship with the franchise, having said multiple times in the past that he was done with the character before later signing on for another turn. Speculation on who the next Bond will be is right up there with speculation of the next Doctor for Doctor Who.

There has been no talk about a director for the next film yet either.
