Breakdown Of Probius Game Play And New Mount For Heroes Of The Storm
On Friday we got to see the cute intro video for the new playable character Probius in Blizzard's MOBA, Heroes of the Storm. The character comes from the company's military sci-fi strategy game, Starcraft, and it's rather remarkable how they worked in a lot of what he would do in Starcraft into how he fights in Heroes of the Storm. He's not really a fighter, but rather a teleporter and he brings in weapons to fight for him. That's one of the really cool things that Blizzard is doing, when the introduce a new character, the fighting has been unique and in-line with what that character does in their original game. So each one brings not only a potential fan-favorite to play, but a new style of game play.
Also, they're introducing a new epic mount, an Elemental Stag.
Probius is due to be on the Public Test Realm this week, I'd expect to see the Elemental Stag.
