Scott Derrickson On Who He'd Like To See In A Doctor Strange Sequel And More

With Marvel's Doctor Strange now out on Blu-ray and Digital HD, director Scott Derrickson took to his twitter account to answer a few fan questions. If you picked up the movie and have access to the director commentary, I recommend watching it.

The started out with a good first question about what he first thought when he was offered the job.

On if any specific comic influence his vision for a scene in the film:

On why the dog scene was deleted from the film:

On which comic book movies he is most looking forward to seeing… he might be biased on the first two:

And finally, when asked what he would do with the cloak of levitation, he got a bit political:

There has been no official announcement concerning a Doctor Strange sequel, but fans seem to want it and it appears that Derrickson is keen on coming back to continue the story.
