An Image Expo By Any Other Name Would Smell So Squee – ECCC 2017

Emerald City Comicon is almost upon us, in Seattle, starting on Thursday May 2nd.

And because this is February, that's only 6 days away.

Bleeding Cool reporters will be on the ground as usual. And I'm hoping one or two get into this event…

Image Comics have held Image Expos on their own or conjoined with other shows before. And this looks like an Image Expo, it smells like an Image Expo, it's just not called an Image Expo. It's called Image Comics Announcements.

This Not-An-Image-Expo will have Eric Stephenson kicking off a two-hour event with a keynote address. And then making a bunch of Image Comics announcements for their twenty-fifth year.

On March 2nd, from 4:15pm to 6:15pm, in room TCC 304

Image Comics is bringing the Future of Comics to Emerald City Comicon in 2017 with this special two-hour presentation. Featuring a keynote speech by publisher Eric Stephenson about the past, present, and future of comics and a full slate of brand-new series to be announced, this panel is sure to set the tone for the year and give you plenty of great comics to look forward to reading.

And the day after? The Image Founders Panel…
