Neil Gaiman Almost Ready To Birth Batman Story Gestating For 28 Years

capedcrusader

Whatever happened to the caped crusader? He's been stuck in Neil Gaiman's brain for almost three decades, it seems, though Gaiman is almost ready to tell his story. Asked on Twitter if there's a Batman story Gaiman wants to tell, the Sandman scribe responded:

It's a shame this talented young up and comer, who we dare say shows a lot of promise, hasn't been given a chance by DC Comics to tell that story, but hopefully things will change and he'll get that opportunity soon. If not, he and Jonathan Ross may need to pay a visit to DC's Burbank offices in search of Dan Didio, if you know what we mean (*cracks knuckles*).

Jude TerrorAbout Jude Terror

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
