Valiant’s Savage Heads To The Circus (Spoilers)

Valiant’s Savage series has been something of a sleeper hit with its first issue hitting four printings and its titular new character faring well with reviewers. So, it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise to see that today’s limited seres finale forecasts a future of Valiant’s newest hero…

savage_004_panel-1In Savage #4, from writer B. Clay Moore and artists Clayton Henry and Lewis LaRosa, we see the main storyline come to a head as Savage confronts the man who murdered his mother.

And in the midst of their dinosaur-fueled melee, Savage and his opponent slip through a mysterious portal that takes them out of the jungle…

…and drops them both, smack into Picadilly Circus, London. Though I have to say, it doesn’y look quite as crowded as it was when I walked through it earlier today.

That’s all we’re left with…for now. But, as the book’s final page indicates, this story is far from over.

Like Britannia and Divinity before it, is a Savage sequel forthcoming? Now that Valiant’s new hero has escaped the tropical jungle, we wonder how he’ll fare in a concrete one. And will he make it to Borough Market to try out their goats cheese?

Savage #4 is on sale today from Valiant Entertainment.
