Fast And Furious Producer Finds Talent At BOOM! Studios

Neal Moritz, producer on the Fast & Furious franchise, is working with BOOM! Studios to adapt their action thriller Talent as a film. This had previously been set up at Universal, but they are starting from scratch under Moritz' Original Films banner.

The comic, Talent, is from Christopher Golden, Tom Sniegoski and Paul Azaceta and tells the story of the sole survivor of a plane crash who discovers he now has the abilities of the other passengers. He must rely on those abilities as he is being chased by a shadowy cabal.

 

BOOM! has a first look deal at Fox, but this is the first project to find a home outside of that deal. Moritz is set up with a first look at Sony where he does the 21 Jump Street movies. Also producing on the project are Original's Toby Jaffe and BOOM! Studio's Ross Richie and Stephen Christy.
