What If You Promise Rogue As A Guest Star In Your Comic But Don't Deliver?

dpool2015026-dc11The CBR preview is clear.

It's February, so Love is in the air! So of course, we're guest-starring the one character no one can kiss! That's right: Rogue is stopping by for an adventure!

Except… that's not what happened.

Rogue of the X-Men did not appear.

At all.

As my old protege, Blair Marnell writes,

Don't you hate it when the solicitation text doesn't match what's in an issue? Instead of the promised team-up with Rogue, Deadpool # 26 is a largely done-in-one story that offers minor progressions on two fronts.

Which might have been a disappointment for Rogue fans. Though, since it is Deadpool, an appearance may have been an even bigger disappointment. Marvel Comics should use that argument when debating whether or not the comic should be made returnable.
