Justice League Diagnosed With A Severe Case Of Optimistic Synopsis

Justice LEague Team

We've been hearing a lot recently about how Zack Snyder's upcoming Justice League movie will be a "rebirth" that will bring "fun" back to the DC Cinematic Universe. Despite all the posturing from various movie big wigs in interviews, however, it was still hard to believe, especially as every photo released from the movie so far features dimly lit heroes skulking in doorways. And does anyone really believe that Zack Snyder even knows what "fun" is? However, a synopsis of the movie from a magazine has hit the web, first appearing in a Reddit post, and transcribed by Carrie Fisher memorial clickbait website ComicBook.com, and it straight up says that Batman reevaluates his grim and gritty ways:

In the wake of Clark Kent/Superman's (Cavill) death at the hands of Doomsday in BvS, vigilante Bruce Wayne/Batman (Affleck) reevaluates his extreme methods and begins reaching out to extraordinary heroes to assemble a team of crime-fighters to defend earth from all kinds of threats. Together with Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gadot), Batman seeks out cybernetically enhanced former college football star Vic Stone/Cyborg (Fisher), speedster Barry Allen/The Flash (Miller) and Atlantean warrior king Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Momoa). They face off against Steppenwolf (Hinds), the herald and second-in-command to alien warlord Darkseld, who is charged by Darkseid with hunting down three artefacts hidden on earth.

It's unclear which magazine this synopsis comes from, but the spelling of the word "artifacts" indicates it's probably British one. Justice League is set to hit theaters in November.
